Cerro Blanco tropical dry forest
30 minutes from Guayaquil the protected forest of "Cerro Blanco" has a system of natural paths and a visitor center. There are 850 species in 3490 hectares. The Cerro Blanco protected forest is a shelter for many animals, like butterflies and lizards that hide in the leaves. It also has 33 species of mammals like the howling monkey and Ocelots. Cerro Blanco is known by its many birds, with more than 207 species, 30 of them rapture birds, like the falcon among others, and the Guayaquil parrot, a symbol of the reserve and an endangered specie.
